Carbon Mapper Experts to Present Initial Methane and Carbon Dioxide Results from the Tanager-1 Satellite at 2024 AGU Meeting

Published on: Dec 06, 2024

Back

Carbon Mapper is pleased to once again join thousands of participants at this year’s annual American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting to help advance Earth and space sciences. Attended by scientists, policymakers, journalists and educators, the annual meeting brings together more than 25,000 attendees representing over 100 countries to present their unique work and findings. Held on December 9-13, 2024, in Washington, DC, this year’s conference theme is “What’s Next for Science.”

Hosted at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center (801 Allen Y. Lew Place NW), Carbon Mapper will have an active presence at the event, featuring a kiosk and offering data portal demonstrations. Please visit us in the Exhibit Hall at Booth #324 on Monday, Dec. 9 through Thursday, Dec. 12 of AGU week.

Carbon Mapper team members will also take part in various sessions as lead authors and co-authors, sharing important research and perspectives on the impact of methane emissions, the critical role played by remote sensing and satellite monitoring and initial results from the Tanager-1 satellite, launched earlier this year.
